Asbestos Consultant
Location: Bristol
Hours: 40 hours per week
At Mitie, our people are our greatest strength, and our promise is to create a place to work where you can thrive and be your best every day. We’re looking for an Asbestos Consultant who will deliver high‑quality asbestos surveying and analytical services across a wide range of properties.
Role Responsibilities
* Conduct asbestos sampling, reinspections, management, refurbishment and demolition surveys on a wide range of domestic, commercial and industrial properties in accordance with HSG264 and company procedures.
* Carry out additional duties including collecting site data, transporting asbestos samples to UKAS‑accredited laboratories approved by the company, and completing asbestos survey reports and drawings using company software.
* Conduct air monitoring and 4‑stage clearance procedures in line with HSG248 and our UKAS‑accredited procedures.
* Build and maintain client relationships, providing specialist advice and technical support when required.
* Liaise with the Asbestos Surveying Quality team, Contracts, Projects Managers and Supervisor as and when required.
Required Qualifications
* BOHS P402 qualified (or equivalent).
* BOHS P403/P404 qualified (or equivalent).
* Strong knowledge of asbestos surveying across domestic, commercial and/or industrial sectors.
* Full UK driving licence.
