Keele, Cheshire
£40,000 to £46,000, including shift allowance plus benefits.

We are always looking towards the future and ways to improve our processes and outputs. We rely on our colleagues and teams to identify how this can be done. We are recruiting an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our Keele site.
What’s the mission? Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining site equipment and machinery. Main duties include fault diagnosis (mechanical and electrical) and routine maintenance.
Core Skills Required: Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Machining, Fabricating, and basic electrical skills (contactors, relays, motors, etc.)
You will work a Continental 4 on 4 off shift pattern (06:30-18:30 and 18:30-06:30).

Essential Skills:
* Maintaining all site equipment, machinery, and services to a safe standard
* Executing Planned Preventative Maintenance and contributing to system improvements
* Providing mechanical/electrical support during breakdowns
* Collaborating with internal departments and external suppliers
* Documenting work in the Maintenance Management System (SAP) with technical feedback
* Contributing to feasibility studies, Capex, and continuous improvement projects
* Adhering to health, safety, environmental, and quality policies
* Participating in meetings to support business development
* Managing stock with stores
* Maintaining a high standard of workplace organization using 5S methodology
* Carrying out other relevant tasks as needed
The ideal candidate will have several years of maintenance experience in a continuous process control industry, completed a recognized apprenticeship, and hold relevant electrical and mechanical qualifications.
Applicants should be enthusiastic, self-motivated, flexible, and able to work independently or as part of a team. A solid understanding of engineering principles, good computer literacy, and excellent communication skills are essential.
