Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Personal Assistant to provide essential support to a delightful individual who would benefit from some company & support. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, caring, proactive, organised and have a background in home care or care home environments. This role will involve home visits to the individual 2- 3 times a day, 4 days week with ideally available to visit on weekends occasionally if needed.
Duties
* Provide company and stimulating conversation with the individual.
* Assist with the development and implementation of care plans tailored to individual needs.
* Provide transportation as required, ensuring safe and timely travel to appointments or activities.
* Support daily living activities, including meal preparation, medication management, and personal care tasks.
* Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals.
* Manage scheduling and appointments, ensuring all commitments are met efficiently.
* Assist with household tasks such as cleaning, shopping, and running errands as needed.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
* DBS checked.
* Proficient in IT applications relevant to scheduling, record keeping, and communication.
* A valid driving licence is essential for this role to facilitate transportation duties.

Contract length: 12 months
Pay: £15.00-£16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 12 per week
