About the Role
You will work one-on-one with a learner who benefits from tailored instruction and a supportive environment. The focus may include academic tutoring, study skills, executive functioning support, emotional regulation strategies, and confidence-building.
Responsibilities
1. Deliver personalised, clear, and engaging lessons based on the student’s needs
2. Incorporate ASD- and ADHD-informed strategies for learning and motivation
3. Support executive functioning (organisation, planning, task initiation)
4. Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and sensory needs
5. Communicate progress with parents/guardians
6. Create a calm, respectful, and safe learning environment
Requirements
7. Experience working with individuals with ASD and/or ADHD
8. Background in education, psychology, special education, or a related field (preferred)
9. Strong communication skills and a patient, flexible teaching style
10. Ability to create structure and maintain positive behaviour supports
11. Reliable, organised, and committed to consistent sessions
