Technical author

We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Technical Author to create clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation for Thompson. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and editing technical manuals, reports, and specifications, ensuring they are comprehensive and adhere to regulatory and industry standards. The ideal candidate has a solid technical background, preferably in aerospace or a related field, and exceptional writing and editing skills. This is a fixed term contract for 12-18 months. Strong written communication skills to convey complex technical information in a clear, concise, and easily understandable manner Proficiency in technical writing tools and software, such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and CAD software Detail-oriented mindset to ensure accuracy and consistency in technical documentation, including manuals, reports, and procedure guides. Research skills to gather and interpret technical data from a variety of sources, including engineers, manufacturers, and regulatory authorities. Ability to work in a team environment, liaising with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to produce comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date documentation.
