Overview
At Community Integrated Care, we’re proud to be one of the UK’s largest and most respected social care charities. Our purpose is clear — to support people to live the Best Lives Possible — and we know that starts with our colleagues.
As a Service Leader, you will be trusted to lead two small, well‑established residential services in Cowplain and Fareham. This is a hands‑on leadership role, where your presence in the services really matters. You’ll be visible, supportive and connected to both your teams and the people you support.
In 2025, we launched our new strategy - Best Lives, Bolder. Find our more here.
You will be leading two welcoming services — one in Cowplain and one in Fareham — each supporting four individuals in their own home environments. These are small, person‑centred services where relationships, consistency and quality of life are at the heart of everything. The people you support have a range of needs, including mobility challenges, Parkinson’s and epilepsy, and require thoughtful, consistent support from teams who understand their individual preferences and routines. While their needs are described as lower complexity, the quality of the support they receive is incredibly important in helping them feel safe, comfortable and fulfilled in their homes.
The services are well‑loved, carefully developed and have been personalised over time to reflect the people who live there. They both sit in quiet, private streets with friendly neighbours, and benefit from large secure gardens and a variety of communal spaces designed around comfort and independence. The locations offer easy access to local shops, cafés and community spaces, helping people stay connected to their local area. The people who live across both services are kind, sociable and inclusive, with a shared enjoyment of food, meaningful activities and spending time together. They value staff who take pride in their work, show initiative, and actively look for ways to improve their quality of life — even when support needs aren’t always spoken out loud.
Responsibilities
* Be present across both services, leading by example and building strong relationships
* Support and develop your teams to deliver consistent, high‑quality, person‑centred care
* Promote independence, dignity and choice in every aspect of support
* Ensure teams feel confident supporting mobility, health needs and daily routines
* Encourage a proactive culture where staff go the extra mile

You will work closely with your team and wider support services to ensure both properties run smoothly, while also creating an environment where both colleagues and the people supported can thrive. This role is about more than management — it’s about leading with purpose, compassion and consistency.
