What this job involves
Responsible for local sourcing/category strategy development & execution and supplier performance across relevant indirect categories as well as other JLL entities if required.
Engaged proactively and collaboratively with UK&I decision makers and stakeholders. Building relationships to ensure UK&I business sourcing needs are met and relevant JLL policies are applied.
Delivery of financial targets in line with business expectations.
Continuously drive the local/regional project opportunity agenda and ensure identification, agreement and execution of these projects.
Accountable for local/regional stakeholder sourcing solutions for specific commodity/service requirements, RFP/quotation management, bid analysis and recommendations, liaison with internal/external stakeholders for contract approvals, savings reporting, documentation and compliance.
Rationalises supply base and develops local/client supply partner framework and maintains this framework at operational supplier level.
Supplier Relationship Management tools applied to manage relationship with JLL's preferred supply base where applicable.
Manages and develops relevant country/regional Sourcing Manager(s).
Working with procurement technology (Jaggaer, Risk Methods, D&B etc.) – ensures team infrastructure is in place, to document sourcing projects and maintain contracts database across country/region.
Ensure sourcing processes are in place, documented, adhered to and communicated to align with any audit requirements (e.g., internal audit, ISO9001).
Applies ethical company standards and ensures required policies are applied at all times.
Due diligence to identify regional spend, suppliers, contract status and stakeholders to continue rolling out formalised indirect procurement organization.
Creating appropriate organizational model to deliver indirect savings via internal or outsourcing support model.
Integrating ESG requirements into all sourcing activity.
Additional responsibilities
Leading and managing RFPs /quotations as required for relevant client and JLL entities.
Guides the Sourcing Manager(s) and other relevant stakeholders on transition and mobilisation projects.
Savings - working with Category Managers, Sourcing Managers and key suppliers to ensure that savings initiatives pipeline is being driven regionally to maximize savings impacts.
Ensure that the savings tracker across geographical region is kept up to date for the country/cluster so that we can demonstrate value add to our internal/external stakeholders.
Quality check data and make recommendations on improvements to data quality/format.
Briefing the UK&I businesses on Procurement activity and attending regular UK Finance and COO meetings.
Other duties and projects (local as well as regional) as assigned.

Ability to analyse complex problems and generate solutions.
Exhibit advanced relationship and conflict management capabilities in order to guide the company/supply partner relationships as well as within the team – ability to build trusting relationships.
Advanced knowledge of procurement legislation, tendering process, contract management and supplier relationship management.
Previous experience of conducting advanced business process re-engineering exercises.
Proven track record of working in an environment where customer needs are variable, at short notice & the ability to assess opportunities at speed.
Customer driven - understands the customer needs that will support delivery of the business strategy and implements these where appropriate.
Teamwork – demonstrates commitment to teamwork and creates value not only for themselves but also for others – focuses on the overall objectives of the team to continuously improve.

A proven track record of relevant cross-category procurement experience
Deep understanding of sourcing process and commercial supplier environment
Sourcing procedures and protocols – particularly for services contracts
Experience working with suppliers and team regionally and/or globally if required
Development of mutually beneficial supplier relationships
Experience in a matrix organisation
MCIPS or equivalent.
