A London-based Entertainment business is looking for a Finance Director to play a key role in their new phase of growth and transformation. They have been responsible in delivering leading well-known content and are focussing on strengthening financial discipline, improving operational performance, and expanding its creative and commercial success. This is a pivotal hire offering clear opportunity to take ownership, rebuild and shape the finance function, partnering closely with the senior leadership team to support strategic growth.
* Partner with the senior leadership team to define and execute growth strategy
* Provide commercial insight to support investment decisions, new formats, and revenue streams
* Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
* Build and develop a high-performing, fit-for-purpose finance function implementing best-in-class systems, reporting and processes
* Establish strong internal controls, governance, and compliance frameworks and oversee monthly reporting, board packs, and statutory requirements
* Manage audit, tax compliance, and group reporting
* Deliver clear, actionable insights on financial and operational performance and develop KPIs to improve accountability and profitability
* Support business development initiatives and growth opportunities
The ideal candidate will be qualified (ACA/CIMA equivalent) with prior experience leading and developing teams in a similar role within a fast-paced environment. Previous experience across Entertainment, Media Production and/or Content is essential. You will have proven capability in transforming finance functions and comfortable operating within a group structure. Finally, you will be a proven leader with excellent communication skills to influence decision making and able to demonstrate a hands-on approach.
