Are you a planning pro who thrives on complexity, collaboration, and keeping major programmes moving? Join us as a Project Planner and play a pivotal role in delivering high‑impact projects within the Defence sector and wider PMO.
We are looking for a fully conversant P6 planner who will be working independently and must be able to carry out the tasks from the JD without support.
This role will be predominantly supporting a secure government site with strict clearance levels.
What You'll Do
* Drive schedule development, coordination and optimisation across multiple projects
* Maintain and validate detailed programmes in Primavera P6
* Support change control, risk analysis and performance reporting
* Lead planning workshops and provide guidance on best‑practice project controls
* Analyse supplier schedules, identify risks and support recovery strategies
* Ensure project milestones, dependencies and baselines are accurate and compliant
What You'll Bring
* Engineering degree or project management qualification (APMP/Prince2 desirable)
* Experience planning complex construction or multi‑discipline programmes
* Strong Primavera P6 expertise
* Excellent communication, analytical and presentation skills
* Ability to influence project teams and drive schedule excellence
