About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and innovative Senior Occupational Therapist to join our Adult Services Short Term Support Service. This permanent, full-time position involves working across Lancashire, including 1 in every 4 weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support individuals to achieve their goals and live independently in their homes.
2. Collaborate with social work colleagues, care providers, and other partners.
3. Develop and coach a reenabling approach and/or longer-term compensatory adaptations.
4. Set and review therapeutic goals, creating person-centred support plans.
5. Mentor and support non/qualified staff, ensuring high standards and quality of work.
6. Participate in continual service development and access training opportunities.
