Are you a passionate and patient educator looking to make a real difference in a young person's life? We are seeking a dedicated Tutor to work on a 1:1 basis with a young learner currently in Year 7 who has an EHCP and a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This student is not currently working at age-related expectations and requires tailored support in English, Maths, and engagement in learning. About the Learner: Year 7 student with an EHCP Diagnosis of ASD Requires support with core subjects and learning engagement Needs a nurturing, consistent, and creative approach to learning About you: Experience working with neurodiverse learners or those with additional needs Strong skills in English and Maths Ability to build rapport and trust with young people Creative and adaptable teaching style Commitment to making learning accessible and enjoyable Aa a Tutor, you will undertake: 1:1 tuition delivered in a supportive environment Planning and delivering engaging sessions tailored to the learner's needs Monitoring progress and adapting strategies as needed Working closely with other professionals involved in the learner's educationPosition - Tutor Contract or position start date - ASAP Contract or position end date (if applicable) - N/A Full time/part-time - Part time- 10 hours per week across 4 days Hours - Monday to Friday- Flexible dates and timings Essential & Desirable Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of experience working with young people Trauma-informed- desirable To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must: Hold right to work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide references upon request Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
