You'll provide 1:1 support for a Year 4 pupil, helping them stay engaged, regulate their emotions, and build positive relationships throughout the school day. Key Responsibilities Delivering consistent, tailored 1:1 support for a child with ADHD and additional needs. Implementing effective behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies. Encouraging focus, motivation, and positive learning behaviours. Adapting classwork to meet individual needs and learning targets. Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external agencies to ensure joined-up support. Requirements Experience working with children with ADHD and challenging behaviour. Strong behaviour management and de-escalation techniques. A calm, consistent, and nurturing approach to support pupil engagement. Resilience, empathy, and the ability to build trusting relationships.
