We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Production Planner with experience in the windows and doors industry, ideally with Logikal and AutoCAD experience. The ideal candidate will be a fabricator with office experience, skilled in order processing, estimating, and production planning, and with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes. You will coordinate production schedules, manage workflow, and liaise with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of bespoke windows and doors.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and schedule production for steel, aluminium, or uPVC windows and doors in line with customer orders.
* UseLogikalandAutoCADsoftware to input, monitor, and manage order specifications, materials, and production timelines.
* Liaise with Sales, Engineering, and Production teams to ensure accurate order requirements and efficient workflow.
* Monitor stock levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods; coordinate replenishment where necessary.
* Identify potential production bottlenecks and implement solutions to avoid delays.
* Ensure production plans meet deadlines, quality standards, and customer requirements.
* Provide regular updates to management on production status, capacity, and resource planning.
* Maintain accurate production records and reporting for management review.
* Assist in estimating costs and lead times for new projects and bespoke orders.
Key Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in production planning within the windows and doors manufacturing industry.
* Hands‑on experience with Logikal software and AutoCAD for technical drawings and production planning.
* Previous experience as a fabricator with exposure to office processes, including order processing and estimating.
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across multiple departments.
* Attention to detail and ability to maintain high‑quality standards.
* Ability to analyse production data and implement improvements.
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes for steel, aluminium, or uPVC windows and doors.
