We have established a crisis response service for North East London, providing 24/7 mental health support via NHS 111 for those experiencing a crisis.

Service location
Based at Mile End Hospital, East London.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will work with individuals in crisis and their families, supporting those in mental health crisis in the boroughs. Responsibilities include responding to urgent referrals, supporting crisis response practitioners, providing supervision, ensuring safe crisis support, conducting assessments, and coordinating crisis care plans.
Flexibility and rotational work are expected to meet service needs.

Education/Qualification/Training
* Registered Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker, or Allied Health Professional
* ENB 998 or equivalent
* Evidence of ongoing professional development
* Recognised post-registration training
Experience
* Post-qualification experience in mental health crisis or similar
* Autonomous working experience
* Experience in care assessment, planning, and clinical reporting
* Experience supervising and mentoring junior staff
Knowledge and Skills
* Strong assessment skills
