As a Despatch Operative, you will play a key part in ensuring that all products coming into and leaving the site meet Balmoral’s quality standards and customer specifications. You’ll work closely with the despatch and factory teams to support the smooth, safe, and timely movement of goods. This role requires attention to detail and a strong commitment to health and safety. Key Responsibilities Operating in a safe working environment, following company policies and procedures Checking and inspecting incoming and outgoing goods to ensure quality, specification, and condition standards are met Ensuring HSE requirements and company procedures are adhered to at all times Wearing PPE in and out of the factory as required Maintaining records of your training and personal development Supporting the despatch of goods to meet customer deadlines, including flexibility to work overtime when required Carrying out other reasonable duties as requested by the Despatch Team Leader What We’re Looking For Counterbalance FLT licence (essential) Previous FLT experience Experience in a similar despatch, warehouse, or factory role (desirable) Ability to work well as part of a team, while also being confident working independently Good communication and interpersonal skills A proactive attitude with the ability to work on your own initiative Personal Attributes Customer-focused with a mature and professional approach Reliable, flexible, and committed to meeting deadlines Comfortable working in an environment where accountability and ownership are key Willing to challenge behaviours that conflict with Balmoral’s core values Positive, adaptable, and keen to be part of a successful and growing team Why Join Balmoral?
