Morgan McKinley, Northern Home Counties are delighted to be working with a growing organisation in the process of transitioning to a new finance system. Based in Warwickshire, they are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis for 3 months. Reporting to the Group Financial Accountant, this is a highly varied and hands-on role suited to someone adaptable, proactive, and ready to provide broad support across the finance function. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Process accounts payable transactions, including coding, matching, and posting of supplier invoices Raise occasional sales invoices as required Assist with the setup of multiple new bank accounts across the group, including completion of relevant forms and documentation Support the team with admin tasks and general day-to-day finance operations Play an active role in testing the new accounts system (Microsoft Business Central) Assist with the transfer of financial data from Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, and Pegasus Opera as part of a system migration Provide ad-hoc support across the finance function, stepping in where needed to reduce pressure on the team Work closely with the Finance Lead to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks Person Specification: Previous experience in a finance support role, ideally covering accounts payable, invoicing, and admin Confident, reliable, and self-sufficient - able to pick up tasks with minimal s...
