Job Description
A forward-thinking, values-led company based in East Lancashire is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join their team on a temporary basis for 15 months.
This is a varied generalist position supporting the full colleague life cycle. You’ll provide day-to-day HR advice, partner with managers, assist with occasional recruitment activity, oversee family leave processes, support apprentices and early careers, and help keep HR systems and workflows running smoothly and efficiently.
Duties
* Provide practical HR advice to managers and colleagues
* Support employee relations and performance discussions
* Coordinate recruitment activity when required
* Manage onboarding, offboarding and all family leave processes
* Act as key contact for apprentices and training providers
* Oversee the work experience programme
* Contribute to process improvements and HR system updates
Required Skillset
* HR/People experience (professional services desirable)
* Strong communication, relationship-building and organisation
* Confident advising managers and handling sensitive matters
* Proactive, detail-focused and open to improving processes
* Committed to professional standards and personal development
