You will be the first point of contact for HR queries, manage employee relations casework, guide managers through processes, and contribute to positive working environments and employee engagement.**Key Responsibilities*** Manage employee relations casework, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, capability, and sickness matters.* Attend hearings as the HR representative and provide pragmatic advice aligned with UK employment law and company policies.* Support policy development, monitor employment law changes, and ensure organisational compliance.* Coach and train managers on people management, conduct, absence, performance, and ER best practices.* Maintain accurate HR records, analyse trends, and support HR projects related to culture, wellbeing, and policy.**Experience, Skills & Qualifications*** Proven experience managing complex employee relations casework independently.* Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.* CIPD Level 5 qualification in HR or equivalent experience.* Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).* Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to handle sensitive issues with diplomacy and professionalism.* Strong attention to detail, analytical capability, and judgement.At Megger, our mission is simple yet powerful: to help people live confidently and work safely by harnessing the energy that powers our world.
