Greek Accountant (Semi Senior / Senior)
Location: Central London (Hybrid: 2 days in office, 3 days from home)
Salary: £30,000 – £45,000 per annum
About the Role
We are looking for a Greek Accountant (Semi Senior / Senior) to join a growing and modern accountancy practice based in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a collaborative and forward-thinking firm offering genuine flexibility through a hybrid working model.
You will manage a diverse portfolio of approximately 150+ clients, many of whom are Greek nationals, making this a highly client-facing role where your language skills and cultural understanding will be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of 150+ clients across various sectors
* Prepare statutory accounts under FRS 102 and FRS 105
* Prepare and submit VAT returns
* Maintain accurate bookkeeping records
* Process and manage payroll for multiple clients
* Act as the main point of contact for Greek clients
* Handle day-to-day client queries and provide proactive support
* Ensure compliance with UK accounting and tax regulations
* Assist with ad-hoc reporting and advisory work
Requirements
* Fluent Greek and English (spoken and written)
* Previous experience within a UK accountancy practice
* Strong knowledge of FRS 102 / FRS 105
* Experience with VAT, bookkeeping, and payroll
* Ability to confidently manage a high-volume client portfolio
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* AAT qualified / ACCA part-qualified or qualified (preferred)
