An opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 position within the education team at North sector theatres. North sector theatres comprises of 26 theatres and recovery at Glasgow Royal Infirmary and 6 theatres and recovery at Stobhill ACH with over 12 different specialities. This role would be dual site working with a flexible approach to shifts.
This role will encompass all aspects of anaesthetic education, operational changes and issues, with a heavy present in clinical governance for the department. You will be responsible for training within a fast paced service to enable a highly skilled and flexible workforce thus ensuring the delivery of high quality patient centred care. Preferred candidates should possess clinical expertise within theatres of at least 5 years mostly at Band 6 level and be dual trained in both anaesthetic and scrub roles.
