Job Description:
My client, a leading public sector organisation based in Dundonald, is currently seeking a Full-Time Administrator.
Hours: The hours of work will be 37.5 hours per week. The working hours would be Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm.
KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Input and extract patient information onto relevant electronic information systems (Epic, PAS, Patient Centre, etc.) to provide an effective and efficient service.
* Select patients from lists in clinical priority and chronological order and offer appointment/admission dates.
* Maintain knowledge of and adhere to targets and the Integrated Elective Access Protocols (IEAP).
* Scanning and uploading documents onto electronic systems.
* Word processing, producing reports, and working on computer systems.
* Support Team Leads in patient information checks to assist audits.
* Action work queues to ensure patient data accuracy within Epic.
* Assist in training and induction of new staff within the area of responsibility.
* Maintain electronic and manual filing systems.
* Provide cover for reception areas when required.
* Handle general enquiries and provide advice within established guidelines, protocols, and policies.
* Prioritise own workload, maintain diaries, make appointments, and manage incoming mail/email.
* Develop and maintain communication with clinical, nursing, and administrative staff across teams and directorates.
* Supervise staff and allocate work appropriately.
* Assist team members with tasks as needed.
Qualifications and experience required:
1. 4 GCSEs Grades A-C including English and Maths, plus 1 year of administrative/clerical experience OR 2 years of administrative/clerical experience.
2. 1 year's word processing experience.
3. Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
