Behaviour Support Assistant – Ferryhill Secondary PRU A welcoming Secondary PRU in Ferryhill is seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to join their experienced team supporting students with SEMH and behavioural needs. The provision offers a structured environment where students are encouraged to develop confidence, resilience and positive attitudes towards learning. Main Duties Provide classroom support across the curriculum Work with pupils on an individual basis Support behaviour intervention plans Encourage positive attitudes to education Promote emotional wellbeing and social development Liaise with teaching staff and specialist services Requirements Experience working with challenging behaviour preferred Strong behaviour management skills Patient and empathetic nature Full-time commitment Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply Join a dedicated team committed to helping students achieve success both in and out of the classroom.
