We are seeking dedicated and resilient English Teachers to join specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) schools, supporting young people who require a more personalised and therapeutic approach to education. This is an opportunity to continue teaching English up to GCSE level whilst playing a pivotal role in helping students overcome barriers to learning, build confidence, and achieve outcomes they may never have thought possible. The Role As an English Teacher within an SEMH setting, you will: Deliver engaging and creative English lessons up to GCSE level Adapt learning to meet the individual needs of students Foster positive relationships that encourage trust and engagement Support students with social, emotional and behavioural challenges Create a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment Monitor progress and celebrate achievements, both academic and personal Work collaboratively with support staff, pastoral teams and external professionals Why SEMH Education?
