The Team
The team comprises the Head of Immigration and Compliance who oversees the teams in both our York and London campuses, an International Visa and Compliance Manager and an International Visa and Compliance Advisor in our London campus, and an International Visa and Compliance Manager and an International Visa and Compliance Advisor in our York campus.
Role Description
We are looking to appoint a full time International Visa & Compliance Advisor for our York campus. This is a fixed‑term opportunity until September 2026. The role will provide in‑person support to our international student body in the York campus and will play a crucial part in ensuring that UKVI compliance responsibilities are upheld and that the students have access to ongoing visa‑related advice and support.
Key Requirements
The successful candidate will have experience working in the Higher Education sector, preferably in the area of immigration and compliance. The candidate must be willing to gain an understanding of UKVI rules, regulations and policies and have the ability to interact with a wide variety of students from different backgrounds. Excellent interpersonal skills (both written and verbal) are required.
Right to Work
To meet UKVI requirements, the post holder must have British Citizenship, Permanent Residence/Indefinite Leave to remain, Settled or Pre‑settled Status in the UK. We are unable to offer sponsorship for this particular role and it is not eligible for Skilled Worker Visa sponsorship. Applicants may apply if they can evidence right to work in the UK via an alternative route.
