Job summary
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Clerical Officer to join our Pembrokeshire School Nursing Team. The post holder will provide a comprehensive, professional and confidential administrative service to support the delivery of high-quality care to children and young people.
This post is 37.5 hours per week, all year round, permanent.
Key responsibilities
* Travel between schools and office bases providing clerical support to the School Nursing Team.
* General administrative support: dealing with enquiries, managing room bookings, filing, liaising with internal and external staff.
* Meeting and greeting service users for clinics, providing non-clinical appointment information, handling telephone and email queries, taking minutes when required.
* Managing mail, ordering supplies, maintaining notice boards, reporting estates issues.
* Perform duties in accordance with Health Board policies and procedures.
Qualifications and experience
Essential
* Level 2 qualification (e.g. GCSE/Vocational) or equivalent experience.
* Numeracy & literacy skills.
* Good knowledge of IT, especially Microsoft 365 suite.
* Experience using IT systems.
Desirable
* ECDL or equivalent qualification.
* Previous office administration experience.
* Welsh speaker level 1 (desirable).
Language skills
Welsh speaker level 1 is desirable. English and/or Welsh speakers are welcome to apply.
