My client, a full-service marketing agency in Exeter is looking for a part-time Media Executive to work 3 days per week (flexibility in pattern) from their office.
You’ll support the media team in day-to-day tasks including the following:
* Assist in development of appropriate media strategies
* Assist in preparation of detailed media schedules
* Assist in the buying of all media including TV, radio, outdoor (bought through a specialist), cinema, press.
* Assist in planning and buying of media inventory on Student sites (UCAS, What Uni, Student Room etc.)
* To support the digital marketing teams, setting up media jobs in Synergist software package, monitoring campaign spend, assisting with the development of campaign reports.
* To attend client meetings and briefings.
* To act as a member of the team that is the outward face of the agency presenting the agency in a professional, smart and personable manner.
IT Skills
* Good computer literacy, including use of Microsoft Office Packages, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Ability to learn quickly to operate bespoke computer applications after training (Synergist)

* Able to work well in a team
* Ability to work calmly under pressure, to prioritise and organise own workload
* Ability to deal with a wide range of customers, politely and professionally using tact and diplomacy, face to face and on the telephone.
* Ability to follow instructions and be commercial.
* Ability to work accurately, with attention to detail.
* Excellent numeracy and communication skills
Continuing Professional Development
* Seek to build or improve on formal qualifications, business and personal skills with a view to becoming a Media Buyer.
* Gain a full exposure and understanding of the various marketing disciplines.
