About the role
Balfour Beatty is recruiting an Engineering Manager to join the Power T&D team in Glasgow, Scotland. The main function is to lead and manage Project Engineering Teams in delivering all design and engineering works related to construction projects.
Background in High Voltage Power is not essential; experience in construction design management and product development is transferable. The role requires leadership, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills.
Responsibilities
1. Lead engineering teams in designing and installing critical infrastructure.
2. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
3. Coordinate across functions to provide technical and value engineering solutions.
4. Identify and mitigate project risks during the engineering design phase.
Candidate profile
* Degree in a relevant discipline.
* Experience leading engineering teams in construction or installation projects.
* Background in Design, Project, Programme, or Construction Management.
* Familiarity with the Power Industry is beneficial but not required.
