Charity shops are the in-place to shop in 2025, and we’re just getting started with our brand new shop in Hythe, Southampton! By joining our team in the heart of the Waterside, you will help establish this shop within the local community and keep people and their pets at the heart of everything we do.
More about the role
Using your experience in retail management/leadership, you will work with our Shop Manager and local community to drive sales and source quality fashion, accessories, and homeware from donations to regenerate and find a new home!
This store needs someone who understands the local community and can build a solid customer base and network of donors. Every item sold helps fund our vital work supporting sick, injured, and homeless pets, and caring for over 40,000 animals annually through our rehoming, veterinary, and education programs.
We're seeking a positive role model to join our leadership team, guiding volunteers to create a friendly shopping environment. Experience in managing teams and motivating others to achieve success is essential. You will support volunteer recruitment and training, share your merchandising knowledge, and provide excellent customer service to shoppers and donors.
Whether you're a current team leader or supervisor looking for more responsibility, or an experienced manager seeking a new challenge, we want to hear from you!
Our shop operates Monday to Saturday, 09:00 to 17:00, with a working pattern that may vary weekly based on business needs and staffing levels. Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays is essential, and additional cover may be required for holidays and sickness.
