Overview
Associate Producer - Universal Creative - UK Project role at NBCUniversal. The Associate Producer assists the Producer in the development and management of all assigned project-related aesthetic, show and guest-experience elements. Works with creative and design staff to define and ensure compliance with Creative goals and intent, advises on project status and issues, and acts as the creative liaison on assigned projects.
Major Responsibilities
* Supervises receipt/inventory and evaluation of project resources/materials, including design and technical documentation, contract documents and deliverables, and correspondence to ensure real-time cost/schedule and quality considerations are communicated.
* Provides direction to project team to complete critical path action items and helps develop and maintain project schedules and work plans.
* Directly manages select design subcontractors, including resource database management, sourcing and contracting, bidding, negotiating cost/schedule/scope changes, ensuring contract compliance, and oversight of vendor activities.
* Assists with bidding and awarding show/ride vendors, including developing bidder lists, preparing an RFP with instructions, forms, contracts, scope of work, drawings, wage rates, schedule of prices, bonds, safety requirements, questions/answers, and addenda.
* Interfaces with internal disciplines and park operations to promote communication and workflow.
* Schedules creative sessions and facilitates design and production work of various creative vendors.
* Understands and participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities following UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education
* Bachelor’s degree in theatrical arts, theme park-associated design or related field is preferred.
Experience
* Project experience as either project coordinator, assistant to producer; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
