Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

Salary: £85 – £105 per day (depending on experience)

We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team and support pupils who require additional help to access the curriculum and succeed both academically and emotionally.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with students who may have special educational needs, learning difficulties, or require extra guidance within the classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils, helping them access learning activities
* Assist the class teacher in implementing personalised strategies and adapting lesson materials
* Encourage positive behaviour, engagement, and social interaction
* Support students with SEND, including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH needs
* Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers and support teams
About You:
* Experience working with children or young people in an educational or care setting
* A calm, supportive, and proactive approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Passion for inclusive education and a commitment to pupil wellbeing
* Ability to build positive relationships and motivate learners
Desirable:
* Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant or Childcare qualification
* Knowledge of EHCPs, differentiated learning, or SEND strategies
* Experience with communication tools such as PECS or Makaton
