Job Specification Job Title Service Manager Revised Version 1 Department(s) Service Reports To Directors Employment Type Full Time Standard Hours 37.5 hours per week Salary Holiday 20 days standard entitlement 3 days to be taken over Christmas Main Purpose * Staff management * Management of third-party vendors/contractors * Contract management * Service desk management * Creation of service proposals * Growth and development of service department – including policy and process * Reporting * Engineering: remote support, onsite support, onsite attendance fault and preventive maintenance Main Duties & Responsibilities include the following: other duties may be assigned 1. General * Interpret written directives, including the SoWs, M&E drawings, event schedules and specification documents * Manage time effectively, complete office and engineering documents, test sheets, weekly timesheets and expense claim forms within the required timeframes * Work closely with the directors to complete tasks, successfully deliver SLA’s and develop the service department * Keep a ‘can do’ attitude and take ownership of all tasks * Collaborate closely with customers and work colleagues to foster a positive and productive work environment * General AV equipment storage, transportation, assembly, and disassembly * Maintain accurate documentation * Carrying out any other reasonable request from the directors
