Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Production Worker to join our clients manufacturing team. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment focused on food production, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality. The successful candidate will contribute to the efficient operation of production lines, adhering to health and safety regulations, and supporting continuous improvement processes. Duties
* Operate and monitor food production machinery, ensuring smooth and efficient operation
* Assist in the preparation and assembly of food products according to specified standards
* Maintain strict compliance with HACCP and food safety regulations throughout all processes
* Conduct quality checks on products to ensure consistency and adherence to safety standards
* Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment to uphold hygiene standards
* Record production data accurately using basic maths skills for inventory and quality control purposes
* Support the implementation of food safety protocols and report any issues or hazards promptly
* Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines
Qualifications
* Prior experience or knowledge of food safety practices, including HACCP principles, is desirable
* Basic understanding of food production processes and equipment operation
* Mechanical knowledge or aptitude is advantageous for troubleshooting machinery issues
* Competent in basic maths for measurements, calculations, and record keeping
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy environment
* Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
* Flexibility to work shifts as required, including early mornings or late finishes if necessary
Working hours are Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm.
