CNC Operator - Basildon Permanent | 37 hours per week | £41,366.00 per annum shift allowance Talent Media is delighted to be working in partnership with our client, a leading high-precision manufacturing business operating within the defence and aerospace sectors. We are seeking skilled CNC Operators to join a growing team within an advanced precision engineering environment based in Basildon. You will be responsible for manufacturing high-precision components using predominantly 4 and 5- and 5-axis milling and turn/mill CNC machines, alongside general machining duties. CNC Operator Key Responsibilities Setting and operating various multi-axis CNC machines Inspecting parts using CMM and other inspection equipment to ensure compliance with engineering drawings Following company procedures, operating standards and safety guidelines Maintaining accurate logs of production issues, machine adjustments and repairs Maximising machine uptime through preventative maintenance (TPM) Maintaining a strong safety focus when working around operational machinery Supporting production requirements with flexibility Working collaboratively with other team members Skills & Behaviours High attention to detail with a commitment to producing tight tolerance, high-quality components Experience working to closely controlled specifications, ideally within defence or aerospace environments Strong communication and teamwork skills Skills & Experience Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Experience working to high quality standards on precision components Knowledge of manufacturing regulations and safety procedures Time served and/or demonstrable relevant experience Whats in it for you?
