Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Kitchen Team Member to join our vibrant tea preparation position. As a key part of our kitchen operations, you will contribute to delivering timely preparation of the store's tea making requirements. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for making excellent, high quality beverages. After having expertise in the kitchen, the individual will also be working in the front of house, making drinks for customers and also helping with the kid's soft play area. They will initially be responsible to train FOH members and will be rotated on a daily basis once all staff members have been fully trained.
Responsibilities
* Assist in tea preparation and cooking, ensuring high standards of quality, taste and presentation.
* Engage in tea and food preparation tasks such as timely preparation of making tea and its key components such as toppings.
* Maintain food safety standards by adhering to hygiene regulations and proper handling procedures.
* Support catering operations by preparing teas for events and functions as required.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen workflow and timely service.
* Keep the kitchen area clean and organised, including washing utensils and equipment.
* Serve drinks and snacks to customers with a friendly attitude, ensuring a positive beverage experience.
Experience
* Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, ideally within a restaurant or bar setting
* Familiarity with culinary techniques and food safety practices is essential.
* Experience with managing kitchen is highly desired.
* A passion for food and an eagerness to learn new skills in the tea making field are highly valued.

Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour
