Job Role:SEN Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join our specialist provision. The successful candidate will support pupils with a range of additional needs, creating a safe, structured and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
* Teaching a primary SEN class with learning adapted to individual needs
* Planning lessons that focus on engagement, routine and achievable progress
* Supporting emotional regulation and promoting positive behaviour
* Working collaboratively with TAs, therapists and the SENCO
* Creating a safe, predictable and nurturing classroom environment
* Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate records
* Communicating effectively with parents, carers and external professionals
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
* Experience working with SEND or in specialist/inclusive settings
* Strong understanding of behaviour, regulation and differentiation
* A patient, resilient and team‑focused approach
* Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
