West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is delivering one of the most ambitious hospital redevelopment programmes in the NHS and we have a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised and motivated Redevelopment programme Co-ordinator (Band 6) to join our Redevelopment Team.
Based at Watford General Hospital (with travel to other sites), you will play a key role in coordinating programme activities, managing procurement and financial processes, supporting project planning and reporting, and line managing the Team Administrator.
This is a fast-paced and rewarding role, working closely with clinical, operational and corporate colleagues, as well as external partners, to help deliver modern, sustainable facilities for our patients, staff and communities. Your responsibilities will include:
Management of purchase order, invoicing and payment process for redevelopment projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance with Trust Standing Financial Instructions, and timely approvals.
Programme coordination, including planning, risk and issue tracking, milestone management, and reporting.
Support governance processes by preparing reports, maintaining document control, and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
Line-management of the Redevelopment Team Administrator, overseeing meeting administration, agendas, and minutes.
Work closely with finance, procurement, capital, estates, clinical and operational colleagues, as well as external partners, to support programme delivery.
Contribute to the development and improvement of PMO systems and processes to support effective programme management.
