Position: Personal Assistant
We are looking for a Personal Assistant to help care for Jacob, who is based in Castle Douglas. Jacob is a young boy with Autism and ADHD. He enjoys outdoor activities, visiting the animal therapy farm, swimming, and forest walks.
Support Required
To accompany Jacob to activities, including using your own car to get to these activities. This role is suitable for someone with an understanding of autism and ADHD. It involves 16 hours of support per week, with days and hours to be discussed at the interview. Flexibility would be advantageous.
Requirements
* Clean Driving Licence and access to own vehicle is essential.
* Previous experience in child support services is desirable; however, specific training can be provided if the successful applicant has no prior experience.
* Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with other PAs when required.
* Post is subject to a satisfactory PVG check.
* Willingness to cover holidays and sickness as needed.
