FAA A&P Mechanics | Long-Term Contract | East Midlands Airport (EMA)
We’re excited to offer a long-term opportunity for experienced FAA A&P Mechanics to work on the Queen of the Skies – the B747 at East Midlands Airport (EMA) in the UK.
This role offers the chance to join a top-tier maintenance team, with flexible shifts, competitive pay rates, and the opportunity to gain experience on wide-body aircraft in a supportive environment.
Location: East Midlands Airport, UK
Position: FAA A&P Mechanic
Aircraft Experience: 747-400 experience preferred; other wide-body experience considered
Contract Type: Long-term, ongoing
Start Date: Immediate and rolling throughout the year
Pay Rates: Updated competitive rates
Requirements:
* Valid FAA A&P license
* Hands-on experience with commercial aircraft maintenance (wide-body preferred)
* Knowledge of B747 systems (CF6 or PW4000 experience is a plus)
* Eligibility to work in the UK
* Ability to follow technical data, maintenance manuals, and complete documentation accurately
* Strong communication skills and team work ability
* Flexibility for day/night shifts and weekends
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine and non-routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs
* Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
* Ensure accurate maintenance documentation
* Maintain safety, quality, and airworthiness standards
* Collaborate with engineers and other mechanics for aircraft turnaround
