At Redmoor Health, we help NHS and care teams deliver better services by making practical improvements to how they work. From digital tools to service redesign, we focus on what actually makes care more efficient, accessible, and sustainable.
We’re looking for people who understand the sector, care about impact, and enjoy solving real problems with clients.
About the Role
GP practices across Scotland are moving onto an updated Vision clinical system. As a Vision Trainer, you’ll work directly with practice teams, helping staff feel confident, capable, and supported throughout the migration.
You’ll deliver practical, easy‑to‑follow training for reception, admin, management and clinical staff, both in person and remotely. You’ll also handle light setup tasks and keep clear notes of progress using our templates.
Please note that this is a contractor role.
What’s on Offer
You’ll begin with a training and sign‑off period totalling around 16 days of paid work. The programme includes a mix of classroom learning, independent study, and live shadowing to build confidence and consistency before deployment. You’ll receive full induction, structured support, and friendly coaching throughout to ensure you’re fully prepared to lead sessions independently.
Once signed off, you’ll move to a flexible schedule of around three to five days per week (minimum three), planned around your availability.
Most on‑site work is in the South of Scotland, with occasional trips further afield.
What You’ll Do
* Deliver simple, effective training sessions for GP practice teams.
* Provide one‑to‑one support for staff who need extra help.
* Complete basic system setup tasks and record activity using our templates.
* Write short handouts and session notes for practices.
* Share insights and feedback with our wider training, product and e‑learning teams.
* Produce training reports summarising activities and feedback for distribution to internal teams.
* Support go‑live days with a calm, professional presence.
What We’re Looking For
* Candidates who are based in Scotland or the North of England.
* Experience working in Primary Care (practice, PCN, or training role).
* Confident using and explaining clinical systems (Vision experience ideal; EMIS/other systems welcome).
* Strong communicator who can explain things clearly and keep people engaged.
* Reliable, well‑organised, and comfortable travelling when required.
