I’m currently working in partnership with a well‑established, growing international freight forwarding business to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly reputable logistics provider with decades of experience delivering global freight solutions across air, sea, and road. The Role
This is a hybrid, field‑based sales position, focused on driving new business growth across the Midlands and surrounding areas.
* Proactively generate new business through cold calling, networking, and client visits
* Develop and manage your own pipeline across multimodal freight (air, sea & road)
* Identify opportunities within import/export and supply chain solutions
* Build long‑term relationships with SME and corporate clients
* Work closely with internal operations teams to deliver tailored logistics solutions
About You
* Proven track record in freight forwarding sales (air/sea/road)
* Strong hunter mentality with experience in cold business development
* Commercially driven with the ability to win and grow accounts
* Knowledge of international logistics and supply chain solutions
* Full UK driving licence
