Wheelchair Technician Location: Surrey / South London Salary: £25,000 per annum – (negotiable) Contract: Full-time (40 hours) TRusted Recruiter is recruiting on behalf of our client for a practical and motivated Wheelchair Technician to join a busy technical and workshop-based service. The Role You will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and reconditioning manual and powered wheelchairs and associated mobility equipment. The role supports both clinical and non-clinical teams and plays a key part in ensuring equipment is safe, compliant, and ready for use. Key Responsibilities: • Servicing, testing, refurbishing, and reconditioning wheelchairs and mobility equipment • Preparing and configuring equipment prior to handover • Carrying out PAT testing and safety checks in line with regulations • Managing stock, booking in equipment, and preparing delivery loads • Supporting therapists and engineers during assessments when required • Maintaining accurate documentation and quality standards About You • Engineering or technical background (NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent experience preferred) • Experience working with mechanical and/or electrical equipment • Knowledge of servicing, maintenance, and safety regulations • Comfortable working in a workshop or warehouse environment • Good attention to detail and ability to handle phys...
