Salary: £25,949.00 per annum
Location: Almondsbury, Bristol
Contract/Hours: Permanent Full-time 37 hrs per week.

Our Residential Support Workers create a safe and supportive environment for children and young people to grow and develop. You will ensure their wellbeing is prioritised by delivering personalised care, guidance, and advocacy. It is key that they stay safe and healthy and can reach their full potential.
About the service
Russell House is a short break home providing accommodation and support for children and young people have both physical and learning disabilities.
The home provides a warm caring and comfortable environment where young people feel safe and free to gain and develop skills and achieve maximum quality of life.
How you'll help to create brighter futures
We are seeking a Residential Support Worker to help us maintain the high standards of care and personal development our young people deserve.
We are seeking enthusiastic, self-motivated individuals to join our supportive team These are excellent opportunities to support activities and sessions whilst providing quality care.
* Provide care planning management, including assessing, reviewing and managing risk
* Co-ordinating responsibilities within the service, with multi agency and producing family information, including analysis and written reports
* Be part of a team on shift with the primary aim of the provision of a high-quality care
* Lead by example with the application of Action for Children's policy procedures and professional practice standards and in line with registration requirements.
* Flexible working which includes evenings and weekend work.

Ideally you will:

Ideally, you'll:
* Understand how to engage with young people.
* Have a positive approach and 'can do' attitude.
* Ability to work on your own or as part of a team.
* Be ready to complete a level 3 in Residential Childcare within 2 years of commencing employment with us, full support will be provided.
