About the Role An Outstanding school in Watford is looking for a dedicated Geography Teacher to join their humanities department from September, on a temporary basis. You'll deliver engaging geography lessons across Key Stages 3-5. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging Geography Teacher lessons, tailored to the curriculum. Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations. Develop students' understanding of geographical concepts and global issues. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support. Contribute to the development of the geography curriculum and resources. Organise and lead geography-related extracurricular activities. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Geography. Proven experience in teaching geography at secondary level, including A-Level. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for geography. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
