An exciting opportunity has arisen for a hands-on, electrically biased Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our client's dedicated maintenance team at a dynamic and fast-paced industrial facility.This varied role includes planned preventative maintenance, first-level reactive support, diagnostics, and upkeep of maintenance systems and documentation.
The role:
1. Execute both scheduled and condition-based preventative maintenance on a wide range of electro-mechanical systems and equipment.
2. Carry out first-line diagnostics, repairs, and fault resolution in a timely and effective manner.
3. Collaborate with operational teams to identify and implement engineering improvements, supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Engage third-party services when required.
4. Conduct risk assessments on electro-mechanical systems in partnership with the Engineering Manager and Health & Safety personnel.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date service records using the site's Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
6. Manage inventory, including cataloguing and periodic audits of technical spare parts and consumables.
7. Coordinate with external contractors as required.
8. Participate in relevant training and development to maintain and enhance technical competence.
