This role spans two key areas of the business:

1) Velocity Brands (Our own brands Oakcastle & Majority):

We design and develop innovative home audio products, including Dolby Atmos soundbars, record players and portable Bluetooth speakers.

2) Velocity Agency (our external clients):

Our specialist Amazon agency, helping brands scale through data-driven strategy and conversion-focused creative.

We move quickly, test constantly and focus relentlessly on results - but we also pride ourselves on building a supportive, vibrant and fun working environment.

About the role:

We are looking for a commercially minded, highly creative Designer to work across a portfolio of brands, with a strong emphasis on conversion-led e-commerce design.

Your time will be split as follows:

Own Brands (60%)

* Lead Designer for Oakcastle
* E-commerce and ad hoc creative support for Majority

Agency Brands (40%)

* Creative delivery for Velocity Commerce client brands

A significant part of this role involves producing high-performing e-commerce assets built specifically for conversion. You will conceptualise, design, test and refine visual content to maximise click-through rates, engagement and sales.

Alongside e-commerce, you will develop visually compelling, on-brand creative that supports product launches, digital marketing campaigns, packaging, retail presence and trade show materials.

Working closely with marketing, product and performance teams, you will ensure consistent brand storytelling across every touchpoint while delivering high-quality creative that drives commercial growth.

Main Responsibilities:

Brand Guideline Ownership

· Act as brand guardian for Oakcastle, maintaining a strong and recognisable identity.

· Ensure consistency across all visual communications, from digital to physical touchpoints.

E-Commerce & Marketplace Creative

· Lead the creation of Amazon visual content, including Listing images, A+ content & Storefront assets.

· Develop and test multiple creatives to optimise conversion rates.

· Create assets that clearly communicate key selling points to the customer within seconds.

· Produce interactive or animated content where appropriate.

· Adapt and optimise marketplace assets for major retailers such as Argos, Currys and Richer Sounds.

· Work with Commercial & Trade Marketing to analyse results and continuously improve creative output.

Website

· Maintain and update the Oakcastle website with new product launches, refreshed content and optimised visuals.

· Support landing page design with a strong focus on user journey and conversion.

· Ensure digital assets are aligned with brand guidelines and campaign messaging.

Product Packaging

· Design packaging that is informative, premium and shelf-impacting.

· Ensure packaging clearly communicates features and benefits.

Ad hoc - Product, Retail & Events

· Develop creative assets for product launches and campaigns.

· Produce point-of-sale materials for retail partners.

· Design trade show and exhibition materials.

· Support social media and paid advertising creative when required.

Key Skills/ Competencies:

Required

· Strong interest in consumer electronics / audio products

· Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

· Experience in designing high-converting e-commerce content (Amazon listings, A+ content, retail marketplaces).

· Experience in maintaining brand guidelines

· Comfortable designing retail packaging for production

· Highly organised with ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines

· Detail-oriented, proactive and solution-focused

· Commercially aware — understands performance metrics and conversion principles

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Design degree or equivalent professional experience

Desired

· Experience with Amazon Seller/Vendor Central content best practices

· WooCommerce / Shopify experience

· Experience running or supporting A/B testing

· Motion graphics / basic animation skills (e.g. After Effects)

· Familiarity with WordPress website management

· Experience using project management tools (e.g. )

· Interest in or experience using AI-assisted design tools

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
