Overview
Join a consultancy that offers exciting projects and strong development opportunities. You will develop procurement consulting skills with a focus on logistics procurement, delivering procurement excellence projects across our services and leading cost improvement initiatives in direct and indirect categories within logistics and related supply chain spend.
Responsibilities
* Lead cost reduction and value creation initiatives across logistics spend
* Actively listen to clients and support their issues
* Develop relationships with logistics stakeholders at different levels as needed
* Manage your own work and deliverables in line with project objectives and budgets
* Take responsibility, demonstrate initiative, and produce high-quality outputs
* Communicate clearly with high professional standards
* Apply strong analytical ability to solve business problems and reach solid conclusions
* Document assumptions and ensure accuracy and robustness of work
* Challenge client information where needed and transfer skills to colleagues
* Provide project updates and reporting dashboards
* Contribute to business development and enhancement of methodologies
Profile & Qualifications
* Experience from consulting projects in procurement value optimization or transformation within logistics or related subcategories
* Proven track record delivering procurement outcomes across the logistics category
* Strong analytical and commercial skills with attention to detail
* Project management experience
* Excellent communication and influencing skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
* Fluent English; another language is an advantage
* Desire to contribute to a growing procurement consultancy
Nice-to-have
* MCIPS or an excellent degree
* Experience with procurement consulting in the UK or Europe
