Salary: £22,000-£29,000 pa (Dependent on experience)
About the Role
Supply Desk are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a friendly and supportive nursery team in Watford. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced early years professional who is passionate about helping children learn, develop, and thrive in a safe and nurturing environment.
You will play an important role in delivering high-quality childcare and supporting children through the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Key Responsibilities
* Provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children aged 0–5
* Plan and deliver engaging age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
* Support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing
* Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues
* Observe, assess, and record children’s progress
* Ensure safeguarding and health & safety policies are followed at all times
* Assist with daily nursery routines, including meal times and personal care
Requirements
* Full and relevant Level 3 Childcare qualification (or equivalent)
* Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting (desirable)
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A positive, caring, and proactive attitude
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
