My client, a 5*, privately owned builder have an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Customer Service Manager to join its team. Reporting to the Head of Customer Service, we are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and upholding their quality and standards. The Customer Service Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of customer issues received. This is a responsive role, requiring excellent communication and troubleshooting skills to ensure customer issues are resolved in a timely manner and necessary resources are allocated to undertake work in customers’ homes where required. Primary responsibilities include: · Management of customer communications - monitoring the customer services inbox and responding to telephone calls ensuring all correspondence is logged. · Carrying out customer home visits where required · Liaising with the NHBC and allocating any inspections as required · Providing feedback to internal departments to drive improvements and efficiencies · Appointment and diary management for contractors and customer service operatives · Maintaining a point of contact for the customer service operative for any technical/personal support required · Ensuring materials are available as required to facilitate remediation works · Completing weekly timesheets for customer service operatives · Managing timescales for customers for any remediation works, ensuring customers are kept fully informed throughout any process taking place in their home · Ordering materials for the customer service team, processing invoices as required and ensuring any contra-charges are notified to the commercial team · Ensuring data is being pulled and recorded correctly in Housebuilder system for all customer contact · Ensuring health and safety procedures for customer service operatives are followed and site regulations are adhered to Key skills and competencies: · Passion to deliver exceptional customer service · Solution focussed with good troubleshooting skills · Strong written and verbal communication skills · Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills · Good IT skills including Excel and Word. · Good construction knowledge preferable but not essential · Previous experience in a similar role preferable · Driving license essential In return this position offers a competitive salary and benefits package and the opportunity to join one of the region’s most longstanding and respected house builders.
