Hours: 30 hours per week, Term Time only + 3 Weeks
Reporting to: Chief Finance and Operating Officer
Ironstone Academy Trust wishes to appoint a Finance Partner to join our central team. The Trust is a successful multi academy trust based in the North East of England, established in 2014. The Trust has six schools and nearly 1,500 pupils. The individual schools are all unique but share the understanding that children are at the heart of our decision making and that we are stronger together.
The Trust operates with a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) who supports the Trustees in holding individual schools to account. Carl Faulkner is the CEO of the Trust. Each school has its own leadership team, who work with a Local Academy Committee.
The Central Team currently consists of a Chief Executive Officer, Deputy Executive Officer, Chief Finance and Operating Officer, a Trust Bursar, Business Support Officer and Safeguarding Trust Lead.
We are interested in hearing from people who:

* Have a commitment to supporting the work of education leaders to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
It is essential to have experience of regulations relevant to the academy sector as well as the ability to multi-task and work flexibly within a team environment, whilst having the ability to effectively manage their own workload, delivering against agreed objectives and targets. Experience of working within a Trust’s finance team is desirable.
The role will be based at the Trust head office, within the grounds of Normanby Primary School. There will be times when visits to the other trust schools are required.
