We are seeking a dedicated and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a supportive mainstream primary school with a specialist SEN provision in West London.
About the Role
You will support pupils with autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and social-emotional challenges, working closely with teachers and the SENCO. This role requires patience, consistency, and a genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning.
Responsibilities
* Provide one-to-one and small-group SEN support
* Implement strategies from EHCPs and support plans
* Support emotional regulation and behaviour management
* Assist pupils in accessing the curriculum
* Support communication and social development
* Maintain accurate observations and feedback
* Work collaboratively with therapists and SEN professionals
Candidate Requirements
* Experience working with SEN children
* Calm, empathetic, and resilient approach
* Strong understanding of safeguarding
* Ability to follow structured routines
* Willingness to support personal care if required
